I'm a self-taught technologist and I've been building WordPress themes and plugins for over a decade. I love building for WordPress because it's a platform with a philosophy that matches my own: to strive for simplicity, design for the majority, and build clean and lean software that serves a specific purpose.

I'm also a writer and self-publisher who uses WordPress every day to publish on the web. I personally use all of the tools that I build and as a developer who is fortunate enough to have my code running on hundreds of thousands of websites, I take great care in maintaining the software projects that I lead.

When I'm not building WordPress software, you'll find me homeschooling my daughter, running barefoot through a forest, or writing about the intersection of technology, humanity, and life purpose.
